Evening Dinner Banquet
A standing
ovation was given to James �Jaybird� Bryant
for his picture & poem of the USS Great
Sitkin which has been displayed at our
reunions since 2007. The framed picture was
returned to Jay for his son, Chris.
This
reunion celebration was special. Our first
reunion was held in 1993 in Mineola, Long
Island, NY. Little did we
know then how many wonderful times we would
have, how many ships and places we would
visit, and how many friendships we will have
made. 2017 marked the 25th
anniversary of the Sitkin Association!
